Bio:

Dr. Katherine Hom is a board-certified OB/GYN and certified Women’s Integrative Medicine Practitioner.

She earned her medical degree from UCI School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at University of Nevada-Las Vegas. After graduating from residency, she completed a Women’s Integrative and Functional Medicine Professional Training Program under Dr. Aviva Romm and has received additional formalized training in herbalism, acupuncture, Reiki, and yoga instruction, including prenatal yoga. She is also passionate about global health and has participated in multiple trips abroad to teach at birthing centers and medical centers across the globe. 

Dr. Hom is passionate about providing evidence-based, whole-person care treatments in women’s health and enjoys integrating a mind-body-spirit approach in her practice. She aims to empower women to make the best healthcare decisions for themselves by offering integrative treatments through lifestyle, mind-body, nutritional, and botanical approaches, in addition to conventional medicine options. Her clinical interests include a range of women’s health topics including pregnancy and postpartum care, preventative well-woman visits, contraception and family planning, sexual and vaginal health,  PCOS, dysmenorrhea, uterine fibroids, premenstrual syndrome, endometriosis, perimenopause and menopause health. She works in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of other providers including allopathic, integrative, and naturopathic physicians as well as nutritionists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, mindfulness practitioners, and physical therapists in order to guide patients on a path toward innate healing.
