The CurQD protocol is a natural, adjunct therapy for IBD developed at Sheba Medical Center, Israel, by leading GI researchers Nir Salomon and Professor Shomron Ben-Horin, who have been researching evidence-based nutraceuticals for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis for the past 15 years.
In the lecture, Nir will present the recent evidence from both real-world experience and RCTs with the CurQD protocol in IBD including mounting data showing that CurQD is a unique agonist for the aryl hydrocarbon receptor in the mucosa, leading to intestinal reconstitution and mucosal healing.
The lecture proposes a new integrative strategy that can be easily implemented into clinical practice to help improve remission rates and long-term maintenance in IBD.
