Bio:
For three decades, my career has been a dedicated exploration of the vast realm of health and fitness, fueled by a desire to help individuals attain their optimal health. My journey was shaped by diverse roles and experiences. My formative years were established as a hospital corpsman, which laid the foundation for my future in healthcare. This experience led me to pursuing a career in exercise physiology, where I developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of fitness evaluation, sports and fitness performance, understanding the unique needs and goals of each individual and crafting personalized strategies for success and peak performance. Cardiac rehab is where I present and demonstrate that optimal health cannot be achieved solely by focusing on the physical, but also mental, emotional, social and individual lifestyle factors.
During and after college, I participated in road and mountain cycling, which I still enjoy, though not at a competitive level. I am also a skilled painter/artist in the style of the “Old Masters,” specializing in oil painting and landscapes and have exhibited my works in numerous group exhibitions.
