Meet with IFMF Founding Director Tieraona Low Dog, MD; Co-Director Robert McCarron, DO; and Program Coordinator Joanne Kim, MA. Attendees receive a code to waive their IFMF application fee. Register at the buttons below.

Application Steps:

1. Complete online application form at the link above.

2. Submit required documents:

  • Resume/CV
  • One Letter of Recommendation
  • Written Personal Statement
  • Professional School Diploma
  • Questionnaire – Background Information
  • Note: International applicants must provide a copy of their medical school diploma translated in English, proof of active medical license, and TOEFL score

3. Pay application fee: $300

4. You will receive an email notification from SSIHIEducation@hs.uci.edu once we have received your completed application.

5. We will then notify you via email of your acceptance.

ELIGIBILITY

The IFMF is designed for MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs.

Practicing physicians must have graduated from an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) training program or equivalent residency or fellowship program. Nurse practitioners must hold an RN degree, a graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program, have passed the national American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification exam or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (AANC board) certification exam, and maintain an active license. Physician assistants must have graduated from a National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)-approved physician assistant program, passed the NCCPA National Board exam, and maintain an active license.
