Tai Chi is a form of martial arts which originated in China hundreds of years ago. This ancient practice uses mind-body-breath exercises and has been shown to strengthen musculoskeletal functions, improve mental health, reduce sympathetic nervous system responses, and improve coordination and balance. Known as “moving meditation,” Tai Chi has been used to aid various health concerns including heart and lung health, cancer remission, psycho-emotional health, and corporate workplace wellness.
