Acupressure for Labor Pain and After Delivery Care: integrative, non-pharmacologic approaches to care
Acupressure can be used to support labor pain, breastfeeding and to promote the overall health and wellness of a new mom during the first days after birth.
Join us for a 60-minute instructor-led-group (Zoom) acupressure class designed by an experienced licensed acupuncturist from the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute to teach pregnant mothers and their labor partner(s) about how to apply acupressure during labor and after delivery. The course will also provide information about integrative postpartum care.
The program is offered:
- Online using Zoom video conferencing
- On the second Thursday of the month from 11 a.m. to noon
- Cost is free to attend

- Ear Seeds for Labor Pain
- Postpartum Care: Nutrition, pain, constipation, postpartum depression and breastfeeding
